The Dance: lito-screen printing by the surrealist artist Salvador Dalì. It represents two dancing figures, moving in elegant way in a desert. They remind of the greek mith of Apollo and Daphne, where the nymph, was running away from Apollo and she became a laurel oak. One of the Dalì’s subject looks like a tree, with branches on the leg and bark as skin.

The dance is a performative art, very important in all the cultures; as other arts, it represented a point of reference for Dalì’s creativity.
