Salvador Dalì, Venice, (the Basilica and the Bell Tower), lithography, 70x100 cm, 1978

Lithograph by the surrealist master Salvador Dali. In the work the artist represents a personal tribute to the city of Venice with a view of St. Mark's Basilica and the famous Bell Tower that towers over the city. The large square is animated by moving figures and a ray of sunshine radiates the golden facade of the Basilica, casting an imposing shadow over the Bell Tower. At the top right we can see a group of proud horses.
