Colour lithograph from the collection based on the Holy Bible by Dalí. This print makes a reference to the quote by the Holy Evangelist Matthew, who said “When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.” The verse is taken from the book of Prophet Hosea, chapter 11 and verse 1. The essence of the verse is to glorify the freedom of the Israelites from the slavery in Egypt. Matthew also refers to Israel as his son. The lithograph is labelled number 77 and is plate signed on bottom right corner.
