Paolo Pastorino, Osvaldo Jr (gold e white), enamel and precious metals on ceramic, 11x8x22h
Sculpture in the shape of a rabbit made by hand by the Italian artist Paolo Pastorino, a Neo-Pop Art Italian artist.
The peculiarity of this work lies in the technique. Initially the artist creates a handmade draft and then proceeds with the design and printing in 3D computer technology for the sculptural post-realization in white ceramic, followed by several phases: a first firing at 1000°C and the white majolica enamelling (according to the dictates of the historical ceramics of Albisola), a second firing at 940°C, a mirror silvering phase, and a final enamelling phase with transparent colours and precious metals (gold), final firing at 100°C.
Each piece, as it is handmade, is unique.
The work is archived in the artist's general catalogue.
