Born in Barcelona in 1893, after starting his career as an accountant, he decided to devote himself to art, his great passion, starting in 1912.

His works are the lyrical and symbolic representation of reality. Evocative transposition of the impulses of the unconscious and memory; a crowding of elementary graphic signs and deformations of bright and bright colors immersed in a suspended and enchanted atmosphere.

The work presented is a tribute to his friend and master Picasso, of whom Miro is a great admirer. The green color and the thick, black line that runs along the surface are the central elements of the composition.

The work is signed by hand at the bottom right and numbered XV/XV on the left.
