Giuliano Grittini's unique work has as subject Marilyn Monroe in one of her iconic poses. The actress is depicted in black and white inserted into a colored background made from rippled cutouts made shiny by lacquer, the artist used the technique he invented, the Cracker Art which consists of a composition of shapes and collage. Underneath the colored layer, Grittini has placed a gold leaf that makes the work even more noble and luminous.

The work is signed and certified at the bottom center and has the MUSEUM CRACKER ART stamp at the bottom right.
