In the background it depicts the sea and a cliff with a building on top, which, as often happens in the artist's works, seems to be removed from its original place and placed elsewhere. In the foreground, a piece of an ancient ruin.
The work is signed by the artist in the lower right corner and numbered 45/99 in the lower left corner.
