Venice, lithography, 80x60 cm

The work celebrates one of the most beautiful Italian cities: Venice. It shows a glimpse of the Venetian landscape, putting a gondola in the foreground and St. Mark's Basilica in the background. The style is inspired by that of Kodra, an Albanian painter who lived between 1918 and 2006 and was active in Milan in Italy. This similarity between the two styles can be seen in the geometric rendering of the details. Like Kodra's works, this one too is in the Cubist style, but with a difference in the choice of colours: bright in the Albanian artist's works, darker and shaded in this one.
