Meloniski da Villacidro, Circus, screen printing and collage hand retouched, 35x35 cm

The painter and sculptor Meloniski da Villacidro, lover of nature and of the forces that bind man to the cosmos, plays with a human and divine symbolism : in this work, a circus tend in the midst of palaces, in front of the sea.

Attacked to the tend, a woman is playing sax; at the entrance of the circus, we can see a romantic moon settled on the sea waves. We can find a magic atmosphere, where the circus seems to connect two different universes where aeverything is possible.

Lower, in the middle, we can see on a black strip an esoteric writing full of mysterious symbols, unmissable in Meloniski's artworks. The work is signed in the lower right.
