Screenprint by Trec spa depicting The Scream by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch.

Munch created this artwork in 1893 and it was soon recognised as an international masterpiece. A manifesto of human existence, The Scream expresses the existential drama of humankind. The subject of the painting is a very pale man, almost greenish in colour, whose face is disfigured by a piercing scream, giving him the appearance of a skeleton. This scream is an expression of the pain and sense of loss and loneliness of the whole of humanity. The colours and brushstrokes in the background also accompany the emotions felt by the man.

The work is signed in the lower right-hand corner with a fac simile authorised by the Muchmuseet management and numbered 163/200 in the lower left-hand corner.
