Colour lithograph from the Holy Bible collection illustrated by Dalí during his nuclear mystical phase. This impression is based on the episode of the gospel narrated by Joel in chapter 3. The verses assert “In those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.” The print displays a burst of colours which signifies clusters of land and the destruction caused by the Greeks. The details presented to us by Dalí includes figures in the middle and background that impersonate the Israelites who were displaced from their land and forced into slavery. The lithograph is labelled number 56 and is plate signed by the artist on the lower right corner.
