The serigraphy "Human beings II" is part of the folder composed of 4 serigraphs belonging to real collections made by Molina over the years.

The work belongs to the series Predatores I, a project that develops an idea of human being that can be assimilated to that of the animal and every subject represented is our behavior, but developed from the most primordial point of view and therefore even more bloody.

"To make an evaluation of human behavior from a purely biological point of view is always fascinating. The sharing of opinions with biologists has led me to find more logical and real answers than those I find in the studies of sociology and psychology. The Law of Natural Selection, gregarious behaviors, complex animal hierarchies, mating and food research models, the most primitive instincts... We are animals, victims of everything that marked us at birth, predictable, innocent and at the same time deeply cruel. The Predators project is an attempt to represent a "human food pyramid", a vain attempt to capture those instincts that we all carry within ourselves and which we often refuse to take on...".

With these words the artist José Molina convincingly describes the nature and purpose of his works in the Predatores series. Before capturing the conspicuous formal aspects of his portraits, we are struck by their expressive power, which, as is typical of his production, deeply impresses the viewer.
