Meloniski da Villacidro, Surrealist train, retouchè, 60x80 cm

Retouché by the contemporary artist Meloniski da Villacidro. Typical of his works is the cobalt blue sky, under which we observe a fantastic, dreamlike world. Here, in the middle of a city, a red train passes by with a female figure playing the violin on it. The city sleeps under the melody played by the woman. The train itself, instead of emitting smoke, emits musical notes. The whole creates an atmosphere of serenity. The fields of poppies in the foreground act as a window through which the viewer can observe this magical world in which the surreal train is the protagonist.
