The work represents the cover of the album "Rare Pearls" of the American singer Janis Joplin, who became famous during the 60s for her performances and Hippie ideologies. The artist is represented on the hood of a car with bright colors typical of the movement to which she belonged. A golden sheet of music has been placed in the background as a tribute to her music.

Lodola has always had a great passion for this theme that often recurs in his works, he has in fact created numerous pieces dedicated to the great musicians of history including Michael Jackson and the Beatles.

The work is signed in the lower right corner and is part of a limited edition of 50 pieces, so it is numbered 2/50 in the lower left corner.
