Graphic artwork from the "I'm Not" series, in this case dedicated to super heroes.

Gallinaro's ironic style is very evident, starting from the characters with their perplexed looks, passing through the captivating colours, arriving at the typical Pop style that recalls comics.

His subjects are shamelessly awkward, and as they are comic strips they clearly cannot be superheroes; a sort of complicity is thus created with the spectator, through the attitude and contemptuous look of the protagonists, which is ill-suited to apparently tender and childish cartoons.

Here the protagonist is Spider-Man, or rather it would be better to say that the protagonist is NOT Spider-Man!
