Francesco Langiulli, Cimitero Monumentale and the construcion site of MM5

Cimitero Monumentale and the construcion site of MM5: photographic work on sale by photographer Francesco Langiulli. Intensely wedded to the beauties and the views of Milan, Langiulli dedicates the shoot presented here to a sunset view of the main city from Lombardia. Protagonist of the shoot is Cimitero Monumentale, designed by the architect Maciachini as a tribute to an eclectic style which combines a Byzantine echo to a Gothic trend. The architectural complex also recalls the Romanic style, which is made clear in the alternation of stones of different shades. Langiulli contrasts the late-nineteenth-century of the Cemitery, to the modern innovation Milan is facing, given by the construction site of the metropolitan line MM5.
