Photolithographic work taken from the edited by Officina Bodoni dedicated to the poems of Sappho.

Born in Lesbos, Sappho was the greatest poetess of ancient Greece. She is famous for her poems about love and women, one of the most famous being on the theme of jealousy, which is described almost as a pathology.

Very often the protagonists are women and their passionate love affairs.

The work is signed in pencil by the artist in the bottom left-hand corner and belongs to Edizioni del Cavallino.
