Posthumous lithograph by the Jewish artist Chagall. As is typical of his production, the master used to narrate biblical episodes related to his religion and Jewish culture in general; here we see represented a scene of life typical of his native country.

This lithograph was made in 1985 immediately after his death and was edited by the publishing house S.P.A.D.E.M. of Paris in an edition of 300 copies.

The work is signed in facsimile at the bottom right and is numbered 202/300 at the bottom left.
