Postum lithography by the Jewish artist Chagall. As is typical of his production here we see David and Goliath represented, Chagall throught his career has mainely portrayed scenes of Russian popular life and biblic episode, reflectin his Jewish culture.

This lithograph was producted in 1985 immediately after his death and was edited by S.P.A.D.E.M. publishing house in Paris in an edition of 300 copies.

The work is signed i facsimile at the bottom right and is numbered 180/300 bottom left.
