Genesis: lito-screen printing by the surrealist artist Salvador Dalì. The artist represents a huge architecture entirely constituted of eyes, with a staircase and a small door on the right. The eyes is a typical symbol of Dalì’s creativity; it appears in several works: sculptures, paintings, scenic design, photographs, and movies as Un chien andalou (1929) directed by Bunuel. The image of the eye became a sign among Surrealists for the subversion of reality, interpreted as an access between the individual and the real World.
