The xylograph realized about 1496-97 is signed on the bottom. The scene, so loved in the Norther iconography, represents the burial of Christ: Nicodemus, Simeon of di Cyrene and Joseph of Arimathea envelop the body in the sheet to bring it in the sepulchre. The hand of Jesus is taken by a woman on knees near the Virgin, who is hopeless and sustained by Saint John. On the backstage there is a crowd who look the scene.
