This study has been relized within 1892 and 1893 during an holiday in Normandy with the paintress Berthe Morisot and his family. Here there is one of the favourite models of Renoir, Julie, the daughter of Morisot. Julie looks for the landscape with another girl. They are seated on the beach with the sea in front of them: the observer takes part in this peaceful moment. The etching is signed on the right bottom.
