A coloured lithograph from the famous Holy Bible collection by Dalí. This artwork represents one of the most crucial episodes from the Bible, the moment when Abraham was willing to sacrifice his only son, Isaac on God’s command. God respected Abraham’s obedience and sent an angel to save Isaac. This print is an exemplary example of Dalí’s new style of displaying traditional Christian stories. The right side of the art piece is dominated by a dark shadow of the angel, while on the left corner, we see a figure of Abraham holding up a knife, about to kill Isaac. The print is labelled number 14 and is signed by the artist on the bottom right corner.
