Colour litography from the Holy Bible (1967). Dalì illustrated this text in 5 volumes during his Nuclear Mystic period. In this table is represented one scene from the prophet Daniel's book, Cap III. This parabola tells about the story of king Nabucodonosor that invaded and deported the Jewish people. In this episode he talls about the creation of a gold divine statue to idolize. But some faithfuls of God didn't  submit to the wishes of the king, so thay were punished and flowed into a flaming furnace. In that moment the angel Azaria blowed a cold wind and saved the faithfuls.
