A colour lithograph from the Holy Bible edition by Dalí. It is a sacred text illustrated in five volumes during the height of the artist’s nuclear mystical period. This print displays the universal flood sent by God to destroy civilization as an act of divine punishment. Towards the right of the background, we observe a small boat which signifies the renowned Noah’s Ark. The middle ground includes a dark area that commands the print. It is possible that through this, Dalí aimed at representing the destruction caused by the flood. The lithograph is labelled number 9 and is plate signed by Dalí on the bottom right.
