Mujer Fatale is a silkscreen print by Obey (Shepard Farey) in which he reproduces his work of the same name. With this work, the artist wants to celebrate the femininity, strength and boldness of women.

The subject of the illustration is a mysterious woman with her face partially covered. We do not know where this girl comes from. The headdress she is wearing is an allusion to the Zapatista movement in southern Mexico, an armed anti-globalisation group that demanded rights for indigenous people and democracy by rebelling against the government. The character's eyes are reminiscent of Fairey's Emma Peel, a character played by Diana Rigg in The Avengers, where she played a heroine. This detail reconfirms Obey's desire to support the female community in recognising their equal dignity.

As is typical of his style, this work is the result of a fluid communication, it can be defined as a liquid work: in the digital age an image can be reproduced in infinite forms and ways, from the multiple of an author, as can be a silkscreen, up to the digital virality, which helps the image itself to take depth and credibility.

The silkscreen is manually signed by the artist at the bottom right and dated 2019.
