La Pupazza, The tree of the cloudseyes, graphics on PVC, 31X47 cm

Eleonora De Giuseppe, aka La Pupazza, quickly established herself in the international contemporary art scenario thanks to a very personal and unmistakable style in which themes and atmospheres of Salento, her homeland, give life to a kaleidoscopic effect of colors with sinuous and enveloping shapes.

At the center of this work, a celestial tree extends through six large branches that have clouds as their foliage. From these clouds rains of human eyes fall. It recalls the image of a strong flood and gives to the work a great dynamism.  Also here, red and purple bubbles create a clear contrast with the main colors of the work: white and blue.

The artist, through the proximity of the tree and the eyes, communicates with her creative style the importance of the strong link between nature and man.
