YuX, I Love Milano Sa, acrylic, wax pastels, enamel and poster on canvas, 78x98 cm

A work by contemporary artist YuX that pays homage to the city of Milan. We see, in fact, the city's patron saint, St Ambrose, becoming a real writer to declare his love for the Lombard capital. Bees cynculate him, as the saint is also the patron saint of bees and beekeepers. 

The artist depicts other symbols of the metropolis, such as the poster of La Scala Theatre.

The canvas was created for a project dedicated precisely to St Ambrose, during the period of the pandemic. Find out more in the presentation video here.
