Sanguine on paper of Pietro Annigoni: the artist represents here one or his faces. Since 30's he start to paint portraits in particular he was inspired by his daily life: friends, people that he meet in the street will became his subjects. He mix up classical ispiration of Leonardo da Vinci's drawings and the chiaroscuro of Caravaggio with a modern line. Annigoni used the sanguine for the faces rappresentations.

This unique artwork is signed bottom right and is accompanied with an authencity certificate heand countersigned.
