NoLo Soul is a work by Giulia Baccara, executed in ink and watercolour on paper. The work depicts a large whale on whose back is represented the Milan district, NoLo, a redeveloped area north of Loreto as its name suggests (North of Loreto).

The whale with its micro-details is executed entirely in ink. With the same technique the most significant architecture and elements of the district are executed, from left to right we find: the entrance to the red metro, the large municipal market in Viale Monza, followed by the trees representing the Trotter park, the Ciresola school with its extremely old plexus, adjacent to the square nicknamed Piazza Arcobalena; next the famous tram 1 and finally the Church of Santa Maria Beldrate in Via Oxilia.

All of this is accompanied by a large circle in the background, coloured teal, created using the watercolour technique. It is a unique work signed below the whale.
