Artwork by the Macchiaioli artist Giovanni Malesci, universal heir of the master Giovanni Fattori. It was painted in oil on panel and was made in 1914.
Malesci painted a landscape of Vicchio, a small Italian village in the Mugello Valley.
The artist remained faithful to a style oriented towards the art of the Macchiaioli, preferring colour to outline, with details that were not detailed but nevertheless immediately recognisable.
