Artwork by Giovanni Malesci, artistic heir to the painting of the Macchiaioli and who, in particular, looks to the art of Giovanni Fattori. It is made in oil on canvas and dates from 1950. 

Malesci painted a view of a landscape in the Apuan Alps, with three people walking peacefully. 

The artist remained faithful to a style orientated towards the art of the Macchiaioli, preferring colour to the outline, with details that are not detailed but nevertheless immediately recognisable.

The work is signed and dated in the bottom right-hand corner.
