Unique work by the artist Giovanni Malesci, Macchiaioli artist and universal heir of the master Giovanni Fattori. It is made in oil on canvas and dates from 1967.
Malesci paints an orange tree, which becomes the only subject of the work. The blue sky appears between its branches.
The artist remains faithful to a style oriented towards the art of the Macchiaioli, preferring colour to outline, with details that are not detailed but are nevertheless immediately recognisable.
