Salvador Dalì, Pégase, lithography, 76x56 cm, 1980

Lithograph by the surrealist master Salvador Dali, which connects to the series dedicated to horses, a subject loved by the artist. 

In particular here we see an elengant winged Pegasus that is located in a setting arabeggante in the background you can see a typical architecture of the countries of North Africa, and above is depicted a flying carpet with two figures with the typical headdress called caftan. This suggests that the work is inspired by the famous novels entitled "One Thousand and One Nights" to which he had dedicated a series of lithographs.

The work is initialed E.A. in the lower left and is manually signed by the artist in the lower right.

In the lower left corner there is the dry stamp of the Foundation.
