A key work of Ciampi's artistic production.

This work is realized with the inheritance left to him by his younger sister, a series of plates, saucers, trays, cups, gloves, silver bowls good for houses of other times.

Instead of leaving them in some cupboard, Giulio Ciampi decided to use them to create a very original work.

Ciampi arranges all these objects in silver in a large painting "Ballerina" with perspex base and places it on a large wall of his house.

That composition, that metallic glint would have been the first seed, the beginning of the path that led him to use steel sheets instead of color, glue instead of brushes and perspex instead of canvas.

The work has the artist's signature at the bottom left.
