The moment of fishing is a work by Giulia Baccara, done in ink and watercolour on paper.

The work depicts a child intent on fishing for small fish in a box, while sitting on the potty: it is an everyday scene that, in all its simplicity, conveys much tenderness.

All these parts are done in ink, while the coloured parts - which are only the child's shirt, shorts and hair - are done in watercolour. Around the lower part of the picture, on the left side, we find a large yellow circle, which contrasts by creating a scale of primary colours, also done in watercolour.

The work is unique and signed at the bottom right-hand side.
