Colour engraving by Salvador Dalì, made in 1972 and taken from the Decameron collection, inspired by the text by Giovanni Boccaccio.

Specifically, the subject takes up the tenth novella recounted in the Decameron during the eighth day, the one dedicated to stories of mockery. Biancofiore was a woman from Palermo who cheated young foreign merchants, deceiving them with her beauty.

Dali describes her in all her sensuality with quick, refined strokes.

Work signed by hand at lower right and numbered 101/125 at lower left.
