Lithograph by the surrealist master Salvador Dalì, which re-proposes the subject of the unique work created in 1937.

In the foreground the artist places two gaunt faceless female figures who are supported by crutches. The first woman also has a series of drawers that open onto her body to symbolize, inspired by the writings of Sigmund Freud, the many uncertainties and paranoia of modern man. In the background, in the middle of a desolate land, a burning giraffe symbolizes the devastation of war.

Watermark on BFK RIVES France infinity sheet. Work signed on the plate at the bottom right and numbered MLX/MM at the bottom left. The lithograph bears the characteristic dry stamp of the publisher GDALI.
