Yux, I 25 Ittico, acrylic, crayons and posters on canvas, 70x50 cm
Fish, often represented in schools, are one of the symbolic subjects in the production of the contemporary artist YuX, who presents us with a colorful world full of movement, where nature mixes with metropolitan signs such as the parts of posters and slogans.
The typical big eyes and caricatured expressions make these little fishes nice to the observer. Furthermore, each fish seems to follow a flow, a trend and each one is characterized by different signs and tones, like their personalities. Another original element is the technique with which the work was carried out which foresees the use not only of acrylic colours, but also crayons and posters, magazines.
The work is signed on the back and lower right.
