Loris Dogana, Food Porn, in vitro graphics, 23x32x6 cm (with frame)

This work depicts on pvc the design of the Food Porn series: a banana fits into a doughnut. The image is doubled: on the background we find the yellow and pink silhouette while on the pvc we find the main drawing which is projected onto the background creating a 3D shadow play. 

The work derives from an experiment on perception. The black lines, representing reason, meet the emotions represented by the colours, in a balance between them that derives solely from the subject admiring the work and striving to make the two drawings fit together.
