The work belongs to the triad "Five centuries of printing", serigraphs made by Giancarlo Iliprandi in 1996 for Nava Milano as an ideal tribute to printed communication. In these serigraphs, the past and the contemporary come together: the ancient art of Gutenberg, Giovanni Battista Bodoni and digital art use the same language, which in Iliprandi's works translates into an iterated and modified graphic sign on a chromatic background that changes from serigraphy to serigraphy. Ilipandri has been involved in drawing, composition, color for over fifty years, and has established himself on the national and international scene as an extraordinary and refined graphic designer.

This screen printing presents parallel bands, each different and characterized by a guiding motif that is repeated while changing in the details on a blue background of extraordinary intensity, in a perfect fusion of line and color, creative fantasy and compositional rigor.

Hand signed work by the Author numbered 67/150.
