Unique work on paper by Filippo de Pisis made with pastels and watercolor.

The artist portrays a male face with delicate strokes and a fine line. The watercolor highlights the figure’s pink lips and cheeks, while a blue veil defines the shadows on the face, collar and headdress.  The subject is signed and dated by hand in the lower right.
