Etching in 5 colours created by Gianni Dova, who adhered to italian Spatialism and Nuclear art. The artwork represents a subject, that is not well recognizable, in line with the nuclear technique. It's a random entity, that underline a thin line between real and unreal. In this work you can also note the influence of artists that adhered to Spatialism, who created on canvas constructions that demonstrate the existence of a three-dimensionality in the world. Their aim was to give a new life to the energies that animated the postwar period, when bore a new awareness of the existence of natural forces that are hidden like particles and neutrons that pressed with force on the "old" canvas. In the artwork, Gianni Dova shows all the possible dimensions, remembering nearly Cubism's works. The colours are abstracted and cold, in order to underline the freezing of Norwey, where Lofoten archipelago is. The work is signed by the artist bottom right and marked 66/125 bottom left. Gianni Dova also inserted with pencil the title of the artwork bottom center.
