This print is the composition of two different shots, the tree in the foreground comes from the Martesana in Milan while the background depicts the port of Cape Town in South Africa.

The scene represents the contrast between nature, which tries in every way to adapt to changes, and urbanization. The European Nettle tree, in fact, bends and clings to the iron structure created by man in order to survive. The artist thus wonders whether this is a desperate attachment to life or a revenge, which the tree enacts by swallowing the obstacles of its living environment.

The work is signed on the back and is part of a limited edition of 80 pieces, numbered 3/80 on the back.

It also comes with a wooden frame.
