In his elegant black and white, the artist portrays allegories in which our habits and social constrictions replace our head to show the things we are: heavy and thinking objects, bodies and emptied and repetitive dummies as large-scale consumer products. Chapter of "Introduction to the World", Marriage Day is a memento mori of life and human relationships. The oath pronunced "until death separate us" during marrriage ceremoy, is the first step towards the end of life, just as when a candle is lighting, it starts its path to death. Time and space are compressed in a work that lives in the present but tells the future.
The work is signed in the lower right corner.
