The litograph is taken from the text A los Toros avec Picasso, realized by Jaime Sabartés in 1961. This work was made of four original multiples by Picasso. This artwork depicts the moment in which six banderillas hit the bull. Banderillas are famous beams covered by coloured belt which distract the bull without to kill it.
