Meloniski Da Villacidro is a painter and lover of eucharistic flying fish turned into "fish kites" or "arks saviors", represented as a sort of "Platonic navigation". His works are characterized by fabulous landscapes inhabited by human sketchy figures communicating with each other, creating a visual and spiritual balance. In the scene represented here the "Dream fish" is transformed in a palace studed by lighted windows that navigates across waves populated by windows too. The message that the artist sends us is the salvation of the human condition of modern man, possible only through dreams and imagination. The work is signed bottom right and the artist's stamp is bottom left.
