Antonio Ligabue, Cow and calf, drypoint, 31.5x21.4 cm (sheet 70x50 cm)

This example was executed in 1959 and belongs to the series of engravings depicting country scenes or animals, subjects much loved by Ligabue.

At the bottom right is the stamp of the gallery of origin, the Casa d'Arte, Sergio Negri's gallery in Guastalla. On the back is a certificate from this gallery explaining its provenance. 

Also on the back is the authentication of Professor Sergio Negri.

The work is numbered 39/99 in the bottom left-hand corner.
