Norma Picciotto, The way of breath, digital photograph, 30x40cm

"As you do not know the way of the breath and how the limbs are formed in the womb of a pregnant woman, so you ignore the work of God who does everything." . (Qohelet 11-5)

The artist interprets the Qohelet, a senile work by King Solomon (III century B.C) in which is exhibited the fight between good and evil. It's an occasion to deal with the theme of the fragilty and caducity of human existence, dominated by chance and transience. In the picture, realized through a digital elaboration, are overlapped more photographs, taken in different moments. In this image there's a pregnat woman, sorrounded by tulips and moon.  

This picture is numered and signed on the backfront: edition of 50 copies.
