A hot-air balloon takes flight carrying a small town and travels through a cobalt blue sky, fading to sunset red below, towards new destinations, immersed in a placid silence. The theme of dream and reality are brought to life here by the artist. 

The whole composition is characterised by an idea of lightness and gracefulness, typical of the dreamlike and fantastic scenes depicted by the artist. Always experimenting with various different techniques, Meloniski also combines traditional painting and three-dimensional inserts of different kinds in this work, thus creating a plastic and dynamic alternation of surfaces.
